Interest:
My research focuses on female reproductive ageing, especially on telomeres, mitochondria, and DNA methylation processes within the oocyte. I am aiming to understand how to slow down or postpone the ageing process in oocytes of advanced age females, to answer a long-standing question: why do oocytes age and why so early in life. Besides, I am interested in gynecologic oncology and longevity.
The first and only European specialist in animal reproduction in Poland (Diplomate of the European College for Animal Reproduction/ Dipl. ECAR). The EBVS grants European Veterinary Specialist status to veterinarians who have successfully completed rigorous postgraduate training, education, and examination.
Member of the examination board at the European College for Animal Reproduction.
Expert in oocyte pick-up (OPU), in vitro fertilization (IVF), and animal cloning (SCNT).
